Investigation Specialists, Inc.

Investigation Specialists, Inc. The security of your information is our primary concern throughout the building process of this information gateway. As such, we would like to share with you some of our security measures so you can feel as confident as we do about the security of your access.

Our webserver is maintained here at the ISI Corporate Headquarters, which means that authorized employees are the only ones able to physically access the computer - our server is not housed in a large datacenter where anyone who wants to look can view your data.

Over the web, our first safety measure was to implement the HTTPS (HyperText Transfer Protocol / Secure) protocol, which ensures all information exchanged between our server and your browser is encrypted using a 128bit key (the strongest cryptographic system currently available to the public). This system is also referred to as SSL (secure socket layers), and you may find these protocols listed in your IE configuration as SSL1.0 and SSL2.0. Please make sure that both are enabled.

This encryption prevents unauthorized parties from viewing your sensitive information, such as username and password, as well as the case information provided through this gateway.

This seal: is your assurance that our secure site is registered with Verisign. This service ensures that the encrypted connection you make at secure.stakeout.com is with our server, and not another server posing as ours.

Some malicious users will try to 'hijack' your logon - they wait until you have logged in and then 'spoof' your IP address (trying to make the server think it is still communicating with your computer). While we do use your IP address as part of our security procedure, we have used several different methods of verifying your identity after logon. You can rest easy knowing that our server will only distribute your information to you.

If you have any questions about the security of your information or the procedures we use to protect it, please give us a call at 1-800-228-6032 or 407-677-0511.
